Innovation

We aim to continue offering disruptive solutions for highly complex operations. In a constantly changing environment, it’s imperative to reinvent the applications and businesses of the future. To achieve this, Scalian has an Innovation Lab and has set up Insights, an organisation devised to promote R&D, seamlessly geared to the Group's business development.

Innovation Lab

As a research and innovation centre, the Lab works to meet our customers' future challenges. But it is also a collaborative platform and incubator for all Scalian employees. As such, it enables engineers to collaborate or co-innovate alongside the PhDs working in the Lab.

Conversely, some members of the Innovation Lab team may be required to interact as members of think-tanks or working groups as part of internal projects, responses to calls for tender, assignments, etc.

This principle of "cross-fertilisation" helps to build bridges between different communities of experts, enriching everyone's experience at different levels (technical, organisational or methodological), and enabling employees to pursue their career trajectories.

Scalian Insights

Scalian Insights is a research initiative structured around four major strategic programmes, open to all employees, whatever their job position. Its purpose is to share or develop ideas, contribute to RDI work or projects, and make collective progress on these subjects.

Sustainability

Helping players in the economy reduce their environmental footprint and aim for carbon neutrality.

Adaptation

Supporting people in their environment as well as their adaptation to technological, economic, social and environmental transitions (food, health, a better way of life, culture, training).

Exploration

Push back the frontiers of our world through human, intellectual and scientific exploration of new spaces, whether near or far, real or virtual.

Sovereignty

Against a backdrop of geopolitical, economic and epidemiological upheaval, we need to reclaim  abandoned industrial and technological fields and develop key new areas of activity.
