Skills development
Skills development
A learning ecosystem, in which everyone can develop their skills and knowledge.
Skills development is one of our priorities. Joining Scalian means that learning never stops, including changing your perspective and evolving. It means being supported from your very first steps in the company and developing your skills so that you can progress within the Group.
We offer a continuous, multi-channel training and learning experience which includes face-to-face teaching, blended learning, virtual classes, certifications and accreditations, individual training programmes, thematic workshops, experience sharing, buddy-working, talks, e-learning, peer-to-peer learning, mentoring, etc.
Training
Scalian offers you the opportunity to learn from the very start, with simplified access to training, particularly through our learning platforms. The Training department, supported by the best external partners and our in-house Academy, is committed to ensuring that you continue developing your skills.
Mentoring
Scalian provides a mentoring scheme on request. This process of support between a person entering or aspiring to a position (mentee) and a person who has successfully held a similar position (mentor) enables rapid development of skills in a position or area of expertise.
Communities
At Scalian, you can join one of 16 themed communities bringing together the best experts in different areas of IT and Operations & Technology (OT). These communities exchange ideas, reflect, improve the state of the art, and enhance the offers and solutions available. It's the best way to meet your peers, build your network, progress in your speciality... or broaden your horizons!
Lab
The Scalian Lab is an Research & Development (R&D) facility open to anyone who wants to share or develop ideas and contribute to research, development and innovation projects. Getting involved in the Lab means taking part in projects linked to subjects that have yet to be explored.
Workshops
Throughout the year, our employees are given the chance to take part in various programmes, events, projects, meetings or workshops that foster discussion of ideas, practices or experience. These events are open to all and are designed to inspire, and promote sharing and learning.
Technical content
Throughout the year, you'll find a series of technical webinars hosted by our staff and/or partners. Several Masterclasses with high-profile guests are also webcast regularly. It's a great opportunity to learn about new subjects and get involved by discussing and asking questions.
Languages
Scalian supports its employees by offering free access to a language learning platform including 12 languages, virtual classes and personalised training courses.
