Best Workplace for Women in Tech

In 2023, Scalian was awarded "Best Workplace for Women" certification, recognising companies that stand out for their commitment to professional equality.


The gender equality index for all the Scalian companies is 81 out of 100*. This score takes into account the application of the Group’s salary  policy for employees with at least one year of service in 2023.

*71 out of 100 for a larger workforce with six months of service or more in 2023.

What is the Gender Equality Index?

Every year, companies with at least 50 employees must calculate and publish their Gender Equality Index. The 100-point index is calculated on the basis of four or five indicators, depending on the size of the company.

Our progress targets

Gender pay gap 

Introduction of comparative average salary indicators at quarterly pay reviews to address the gender pay gap.


Gap in the distribution of individual pay rises 

Introduction of comparative indicators for the proportion of employees receiving pay rises by gender at quarterly pay reviews. Negotiations with trade unions on an indicator reflecting the application of the Group's pay policy.

Gap in promotion rates between men and women 

Quarterly analysis of the classification level of jobs held by employees, with a view to reducing the gap in promotion rates. Implementation of the December 2022 professional equality agreement with respect to the measure relating to the number of women in managerial positions.


Parity among the 10 highest earners 

Revamp of the Executive Board and increase in the number of women in executive positions.
