Service Technician – Night Shift

  • Provide on-site support for maintenance and repair of specialized industrial machines and systems
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and schematics to conduct repairs and modifications
  • Analyze and repair electrical systems including 480V and control voltages
  • Conduct hydraulic system diagnostics and perform repairs on high-pressure systems (up to 5000 PSI)
  • Maintain clear and detailed documentation of service work and repairs
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams to resolve complex issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during all work
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, recommendations, and training as needed

What will your role be?
As a Service Technician, you will play a key role in supporting clients with the maintenance and technical service of specialized industrial machinery. This includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Working in a high-demand, industrial and automation-heavy environment, your job ensures minimal downtime and maximum machine efficiency for the client.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role requiring strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset. You’ll work independently and in coordination with internal teams to maintain high levels of service quality and equipment performance.

This position follows a rotating schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off, working 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in machine or industrial maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or automation environments
  • Associate degree or certification in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and blueprints
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, including troubleshooting of 480V and low-voltage controls
  • Proficient in hydraulic system repair, including valves, pistons, rams, and diagnostic tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments
  • Strong customer service and communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision; proactive and fast-thinking
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety
  • Must be able to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean criminal record
