IT Project Manager

  • Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with business stakeholders and operational leaders
  • Act as the primary liaison between business units, IT infrastructure teams, vendors, and technical domains
  • Lead end-to-end hardware project delivery, including planning, budgeting, risk management, and execution
  • Manage procurement processes, vendor selection, contract coordination, and hardware lifecycle planning
  • Oversee deployment of IT infrastructure components such as servers, storage, network equipment, workstations, and industrial hardware
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, operations, and external suppliers
  • Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, quality, and budget
  • Ensure hardware solutions meet performance, security, compliance, and manufacturing standards
  • Contribute to IT portfolio management and capital planning for hardware investments
  • Track and report on budget performance and cost optimization initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement of hardware platforms, infrastructure standards, and support models
  • Support incident management and post-implementation reviews to enhance system reliability

What will your role be? 
Scalian is looking for an IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of hardware-focused IT initiatives across the organization. You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle for infrastructure and hardware deployments, including servers, network equipment, end-user devices, industrial IT hardware, and related systems.

This role ensures successful planning, procurement, implementation, and support of hardware solutions aligned with business objectives, operational requirements, and manufacturing environments. You will drive continuous improvement in hardware performance, reliability, scalability, and lifecycle management.


Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, with strong exposure to hardware or infrastructure projects
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end hardware infrastructure implementations
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, endpoint devices, industrial IT equipment)
  • Experience managing hardware vendors, procurement cycles, and contract negotiations
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong financial and budget management skills
  • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, Scrum)
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with collaboration and reporting tools (e.g., Google Workspace, reporting dashboards)
  • Knowledge of IT security, compliance, and infrastructure best practices
