Senior Embedded Software Engineer C++

Role Summary

The Senior Embedded Software Engineer will lead the development of advanced embedded software solutions, driving technical decisions and mentoring team members. This role requires extensive experience in embedded systems, software architecture, and modern C++ development within complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of embedded software architectures and solutions.
• Develop high-quality software using modern C++ (C++17 or above).
• Define and promote software engineering best practices and coding standards.
• Drive testing strategies using Google Test (GTest) and automated validation methodologies.
• Support and guide CI/CD adoption and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Perform technical reviews, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and contribute to strategic technical decisions.
• Ensure delivery of reliable, scalable, and maintainable software products.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in embedded software development for microcontroller-based systems.
• Advanced expertise in modern C++ (preferably C++17 or higher).
• Strong experience with Google Test (GTest).
• Experience working with CI/CD environments and software delivery practices.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Strong RTOS experience, preferably Zephyr (highly valued).
• Deep knowledge of C programming and embedded optimization techniques.
• Experience with performance tuning, memory optimization, and real-time systems.
• Spanish language skills.
